Hey my names Marc.Anybody dont any early sledding?but I have a question about snowmobile studs. Im studding my track and a few buddies are saying there illegal???Im not sure could anybody who knows please reply!

I don't know where you are but I have never heard of a law like that. Studs are a huge saftey factor for stopping or cornering in ice conditions. Your friends probably have studs and don't want you to have the same advantage.

There's a law about studding tires on cars and trucks in southern ontario but north of Parry Sound it's legal. Nothing about sleds though. Besides on ice (lakes and swamps) it's safter to have studs more often then not.

Your getting confused with a law from the United States which prohibits the use of track studs in certain areas where damaging the land is a problem because of low snow conditions!
