February 6 and 7th

Hello Looking for people or person to ride with Feb 6 and or 7th. I live in Ottawa but would be willing to travel some if were doing a day trip.

Would you be interested in trailering to Kirkland Lake then anywhere north for the weekend?

I would be willing to do that. Can I get the details? How far is Kirkland Lake from here? Are you familiar with that area?

Kirkland is about a 3 1/2 - 4 hour drive from ottawa not 100% sure on that. I'm from Sudbury so Im not a expert in the area but have been there on sled about 5 times. Everything is pretty easy once you get on the main trails.

So I dont have any real details because Im trying to get someone to go with me. Once I get someone to commit then we could plan anything Some of the guys I have dont want to commit to anything so that why Im on this site. But we could go anywhere really. We could ride up to smooth rock and back. Theres a nice motel that lets the guys leave there machines inside a big heated garage for the night.

What do you think?

If it is only a 3-4 hour drive I am all for it. But i think it is more like 7-8 hours. I wll check and get back to you.

I just did it on mapquest and it said 7.5 hours. Even if I cut an hour off it is too far to go up on Saturday and back Sunday.

ya its too much for 2 days.
