District 7 & 8

Anyone looking to Ride around these areas hit me up. I like to ride to Bala and do the loop back home to Washago area. If you live or ride near here let me know!

Also looking for someone to show me the way to Barrie from Orillia. I tried doing it by the maps but the trails all seem to stop. Seen a sign on Couch that sort of points to Barrie but doesnt show me how to get safely through the narrows...any thoughts?

If your in Washago you would have to get on the "4" trail southbound to "15" Both are running west of Hwy 11 - They take you south to Couch ( after crossing Hwy 11 at one of the Oro lines ) down the lake trail 204 to Orilla - upr the shore and hang a right - down to the train station - left over road and stay on the rail trail to Barrie - several loops to return on land trails from Barrie

I did go looking for the rail trail and must have passed it. I guess it must run right off the main and I didnt see it.

I was in Bala last week from Wasaga. We came back by Orillia. I have ridden from Wasaga to Orillia via Barrie many times. It is a nice ride. I have never taken the rail line. I take the the trail up by Mount St.Louis it is a great ride accross. Last year I met some freinds from Keswick at the Wild Wing at the narrows a couple times.
If you want to meet there sometime I can show you the way back to Barrie and you can scoot up the rail back.

Yes there are many ways totravel between Barrie and Orillia - I ride quite a lot. I start out of Innisfil and ride east, west and north, I've been to Midland, Huntsville, Muskoka, Beaverton, and Allliston several times already this year - let me know where you start from and I can give you a heads up or join in a ride.
