OK, liskeard could use more snow, but trails were smooth....very icy, so you got to keep looking for a bit to cool things down but not a problem. Lakes and swamps are hard and once north of Kirkland there's more snow. All good into Cochrane and smooth as ever. Heading East to La reine,PQ is about the same, but groomer only been aboput half way....that said the trail is still nice and fairly smooth, just not as wide . NO GAS is La Reine, I hearcd the general stor burned down a year or two ago, and there's nothing left...but only 25 KM to Lasarre so easy to make, You can get PQ trail permits in Dupuy and no one should ticket you if you're heading there. Guy is there is funny old dude too, used to live down here. Trails are PQ Perfect as always. and quite obvious as soon as you come off the trestle bridge....their grooming keeps more loose stuff on trail but bigs Yams still have to get to powder for cooling sometimes. Tabletop all the way down to Rouyn, we came across to Larder Lake and then down to Englhart....unbelievable...just as smooth as PQ.....better snow between Earlton and Liskeard is you come down thru Thornloe instead of A trail....south of Liskeard looks bad and I'd say anyone who tries to tell you Nbay is good is ripping off your motel room dollars
