I have relatives in the towns nearby so it just feels sort a close to home. My Dad grew up in Fernie B.C. My heart goes out to the families and friends affected by the loss of their loved ones. We could have survived the rain from last Sat but it was the south wind on Sunday that killed any open or exposed trails.We recieved snow last night 4-6 inches but need a little more for the fields and rail lines, Everyone hang in there after all its still Dec and the long term outlook looks promising.
